Leanne’s academic and professional experience within the health field spans over 25 years. From earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) to obtaining a CHIA qualification, Leanne has developed a wealth of knowledge and skills.

The hiring committee's decision was only made easier by looking at Leanne’s successes outside of the academic field. For example, she has successfully implemented multiple clinical transformational projects alongside a new hospital transition. In addition to this, she has worked as a director of cancer services of oncology and a director of clinical transformation within Victorian Public Health. This fusion of clinical expertise, operational finesse, and fervent dedication to leveraging technology for the betterment of patient care made her the perfect candidate for this coveted and crucial role.

In her new role as CCIO, Leanne will take charge of Clinical Informatics, Account Management, Project Governance, and sales leadership.
